Application Performance Engineer

Job Description:
  1. Monitor alerts on customer’s application performance using tools provided by company.
  2. Provide Level 1 and 2 investigations into application related alerts. This consist of CPU or memory overload, application-related errors, or analysing into database query statement.
  3. Provide recommendations to remediate alerts (increase resources, optimise database query statements, etc…).
  4. Create monthly reports for customer. 
Requirements:
  1. 1-3 years’ experience in system administration or software development.
  2. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Strong knowledge into Windows or Linux systems.
  4. Basic / strong knowledge on databases (MSSQL, MySQL, DB2, or Oracle DB).
  5. Basic / strong knowledge on web servers (IIS or Apache).
  6. Basic / strong knowledge on application coding (Java or dotNet).
  7. This role does not require you to do software development, but you need to know enough to provide recommendations to customer.
  8. Data and analysing tools will be provided using APM (application performance monitoring).

Business Development Manager (Sales)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth for Simply Data’s cybersecurity solutions.
  2. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets for SOC (Security Operations Centre), VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing), and APM (Application Performance Monitoring) services.
  3. Build strong relationships with C-level executives, IT managers, and decision-makers to understand their cybersecurity needs and present tailored solutions.
  4. Work closely with technical presales team to conduct presentation and demo to customer.
  5. Maintain a solid pipeline of qualified leads and manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to remain competitive in the cybersecurity industry.
  7. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and customer needs to senior management.
Requirements:
  1. Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development or sales, preferably in cybersecurity or IT solutions.
  2. Strong understanding of cybersecurity services, including SOC (Security Operations Centre), VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing), and APM (Application Performance Monitoring) services.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  4. Ability to build relationships with clients and work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  5. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  6. Good problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  7. New to sales but hungry to learn and have strong business hunting skills (cold calling, proactive LinkedIn search, etc…) is welcome to apply

L1 Network and Security Analyst

Job Description:
  1. Provide Level 1 investigations into security alerts.
  2. Provide Level 1 investigations into network alerts.
  3. Provide network administration and support.
  4. Create report as requested by customer.
  5. Coordinate with Field Engineer when applicable, ensuring all necessary details are included for Field Engineer to perform the required task.
  6. Point of contact for customer support cases.
  7. On rare cases, assist Field Engineer for onsite troubleshooting.
  8. Create monthly reports for customer.
  9. Conduct security best practice analysis on configuration with supervision from seniors or manager.
  10. Travelling allowances will be provided (parking, toll, and petrol).
Requirements:
  1. No experience required. However, candidates with at least 1 year of working experience in the related fields will have an advantage.
  2. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Independent and able to work with all levels of personnel.
  4. Basic knowledge about networking devices (switch, routers, firewalls).
  5. Basic knowledge about Linux.
  6. Having certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+ will be added advantage.

L2 Network and Security Analyst

Job Description:
  1. Provide Level 2 investigations into security alerts.
  2. Review report created by L1 SOC analyst.
  3. Lead new SOC customer onboarding.
  4. On rare cases, assist Field Engineer for onsite troubleshooting.
  5. Conduct security best practice analysis on customer's configuration.
  6. Onsite security investigation if there is security breach in customer's environment.
  7. Travelling allowances will be provided (parking, toll, and petrol).
Requirements:
  1. 4-8 years experience in running SOC operations.
  2. Experienced in security investigations and providing remediation recommendation to customer.
  3. Experienced in onboarding new SOC customers together with our CSM (Customer Service Manager).
  4. Intermediate knowledge in SIEMs.
  5. Ability to use OSINT tools as part of security investigations.
  6. Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Independent and able to work with all levels of personnel.
  8. Intermediate knowledge about networking devices (switch, routers, firewalls).
  9. Intermediate knowledge about Linux and Windows.
  10. Having certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CySA+ will be added advantage.
